Merry Christmas 2012 & Happy New Year 2013
When we left town for Christmas, I accidentally left all the Christmas card mailing addresses behind! So... if anyone noticed the 2013 postmark, they ALL have that.
We spent Christmas in Utah with Brian's family, where great fun was had by all! :)
Brian & Chanda
We both survived the year. :)
Ethan
Having turned 14 in November, Ethan is being allowed by his mother to parent himself, and the quality is exactly as to be expected of a 14 year old parenting himself.
Elise
Elise continues to enjoy rock climbing.
Treyton
Treyton is taking piano lessons and memorized his favorite Christmas carol, The Little Drummer Boy. He had a great time spending Christmas with his dad & family in Ohio/Iowa. He took a cartoon drawing class this fall that he really enjoyed.
Carsten
Carsten is talking up a storm, incessantly asking questions and, as Treyton puts it, "stating the obvious" ("I'm awake." "I'm home." etc.). He loves to read stories, especially Dr. Seuss. He got a backpack for Christmas from Grandma Wright and now thinks he needs to go "bye bye to school" every day.
Paxton
Paxton turned 1 in October and started walking December 20th.
Baby
We're having a baby... He is due May 7, 2013. We had a girl name all picked out, but no boy names we can readily agree on yet. Hopefully we'll come up with something in the next four months! :)

Growing Up
Paxton is delighted that he's now just tall enough to reach things at the table's edge (such as unattended, mint, chocolate chip ice cream).
And Carsten insisted on not missing a photo op. :)
