IFTTT (If This, Then That)
You may or may not have noticed (more than likely, the latter based on my zero comments, but maybe someone is blurking) that all of my posts have been from Instagram. Because: IFTTT Because: Ain't nobody got time for that!
I've been using a recipe to automatically post my Instas to my blog. It's genius, really (IFTTT recipes, not my use thereof). My blog has had 100% more posts in the past year than it would have without IFTTT.
IFTTT does all kinds of amazing things, like text me if the forecast calls for snow at the nearest ski resort and log all my calls in my Google Drive. Anyone and everyone should totally check it out!
But while I've really appreciated the automatic posts and think it's better than nothing, I've found reading my older posts is decidedly more fulfilling and memorable than the short hashtag-ridden Insta posts. So... I'm going to (try to)(eventually) set up an IFTTT recipe to: remind ME to blog regularly. :) Technology comes full circle. :)
