We hosted the Second Annual Wright Family Easter Turkey Dinner.
Brian likes to buy extra turkeys around Thanksgiving. In 2006 we spent Thanksgiving with Josh & Lisa, so Brian still had a turkey in the freezer when Easter 2007 arrived... Thus the 1st Easter Turkey Dinner was born (although not yet known to be annual). It was very good, but it wasn't until Christmas 2007 that Brian was able to duplicate Josh's excellent turkey brining technique... Since we spent Thanksgiving 2007 with Jim & Monica, we again had an extra turkey at Easter. : ) So, from now on, we're just going to plan on hosting a turkey dinner each Easter. : )

Thanks again for being such WONDERFUL hosts! We had a blast and it was well worth the drive. Our kids loved it too. Oh, and it's Taylor on the left in the pic--and you forgot Ethan's name in the pic line-up. Thanks again for the awesome time! You guys up for a trip north on the 12th? It's fine if you've got plans--just know you're invited!
